The IceCube South Pole Neutrino Observatory has been called the world's largest telescope. At a polar ice depth equivalent to approximately seven stacked Sear's Towers, IceCube's sensor array is capable of detecting neutrino interactions that provide clues about cosmic events beyond our solar system.
I designed this 3D paper model as a means of engaging the public, to help convey scale, and to provide an interactive hands-on experience.
